The day had finally arrived: my retirement. After years of performing operations daily, it was time to move on to the next stage in my life. I’ll never forget my retirement party, which was held at a local Milton, MA, country club. It was marked by good food, great company and fond memories. This photo perfectly captures my mood shortly before I gave a speech in which I thanked all the people I had worked with during my career for their help, cooperation, camaraderie and friendship.
